I bought a 2015 Grand Cherokee Limited 4X4 back in January and love it! After making the mistake of a BMW for a little under three years, I'm glad to be back in a Jeep product.

I've gotten a lot of promotional material about the Jeep Wave program and am more than willing to "buy in" to the program since my vehicle didn't come with the free membership.

I've talked to the program staff on both the phone and via email and they tell me that I should be able to sign up through a tab on the Mopar Owner Connect website. I've never seen such a tab on the site and they acted surprised. I've tried multiple computers and browsers, all with the same effect. One guy from Jeep Wave calls me every few weeks to ask if the sign up option has shown up for me yet.

Anyone else having this problem?

I got a year of Jeep Wave free with my 16 HA.

I do see a tab for it when I login to the Mopar Owner Connect website. Not sure if that always showed up or if it started doing that with the free 1-year subscription.

If you aren't seeing the tab on Owner Connect I believe you can sign up for it on the dedicated Jeep Wave site... https://jeep.moparvip.com/owner

That is odd. No matter how I go into Jeep Wave from a different route... by the dedicated website or through links in Jeep Wave email, it still directs you into Owner Connect.

In Owner Connect, do you see any links for it at the bottom of the page in the site navigation area?

Other than that you'll probably have to call and ask them to set you up.

I have a 2016 Overland and they called me when I bought it telling me about all these great features. Tried signing in about 50 times and still can't get in. I called them over a month ago and told they would call me back and still haven't. The tab works fine but this is the message it gives me. Very annoying. Jeep should really update their stuff more often!

I know this thread is old; however, I also had difficulty getting my Jeep Wave account and benefits to show up. It is my understanding that if you purchased a 16' Jeep a two-year membership is included. If you registered for the mopar site before registering for Jeep Wave you'll need to contact their help desk and explain the situation. I did so via e-mail and had my issues resolved in a few days. I suggest everyone does the same!

It is only for certain models. not all Jeeps. From FAQ:



A: Jeep® Wave is included in the purchase of select MY2016 and MY2017 Jeep® brand models (see below), effective program launch. Additionally, owners of MY2015 and newer Jeep® brand vehicles not listed below have the opportunity to enroll for an annual fee and experience the benefits Jeep® Wave has to offer.
2016 Model-Year Vehicles with Jeep® Wave
  • Cherokee Overland, Cherokee Trailhawk
  • Grand Cherokee Overland, Grand Cherokee Summit, Trailhawk, and SRT®
  • Renegade Trailhawk
  • Wrangler (All)

Quick question on this. I received the two free years which includes two oil changes per year and tire rotations. Is the expectation for that when I take my vehicle to the Jeep dealership for the oil change and tire rotate they will see these on my "WAVE" account and adjust the invoice accordingly?

Can anyone verify that 2017 models that include it get 2 year of Jeep wave? I have an overland on order so was wondering.
