Jeep performance lighting.....66MM projector

headlight washer from front

headlight washer from bottom

headlight washer spray nozzle

wash connection

NEW hid cover-twists off and seals really well

NEW D3S bulbs

bulb removed

leveling system controls?

headlight control module?

HID ballast

There is ONLY 1 bulb to replace...the new D3S hid bulb. Everything else is contained internally. I assume the black Mopar box controls the headlamps. There is a connection for the headlight washer and I assume that is from the washer tank. Not sure if water pressure pushes the sprayer out....or if theres a motor to push it out somewhere else? It is hard to push out and is spring activated with a very tight spring!
Very interesting to say the least....

Ahh yes, there's that "Jeep Performance Lighting" crap I was talking about.

That still makes me laugh. Sorry, I don't know why.

Looks to me like they will fit 2011-2013 models.

Scott- do you plan on trying to install the light on your Jeep? You know we are all waiting for you to do it!
I got this for the community! I will do a test fit when I install my export lamps

I'm guessing that it's not plug-n-play. I can't tell for certain but based on the pics Scott has put up it looks like there is a proprietary connector near the washer connection that has a number of pins on it. I'm guessing it's that connector that controls all of the lighting in the headlight.

Just my $0.02 but hopefully Scott can give us the real answer and here's hoping it's good!

Scott that's awesome. How do the led drls and turn signal connect? Are they also both separate connectors that we could possibly modify our connections to?

#27 ·
So if the connecters are the same across years it might be possible a software flash could get the drl and blinkers workin in a 11-13 with the 14 headlights...

sorry...the connectors are different. The 14' has a 18 pin while the 11-13 has a 12 pin. These are both passenger lamps

While we're talking '14 headlights...

In Auto mode the lights (all of them?) come on at a predetermined light. If one were to find and cover the sensor (looking at Milous' diagram, maybe in the grill), woudn't all the lights come on at ignition and be "full time" lights?
( my Subaru had that when I was a kid and I liked that feature)

I would love the international srt headlights for my 13' altitude. I hate the orange reflectors! Opening up the light to remove them seems too risky and I currently have HIDS w no projectors which cheapens the overall look of my wk2 and probably blinds people. So those international srt lights would kill two birds w one stone for me.
How could I get my hands on a pair?

With all that said if the 2014 lights fit my wk2 I'll be even happier :)
