I appreciate the advice. Although, I don't really need anymore tips with the process, as I've done it quite a few times. Really it's a question of time/effort and how long it will stay on based on the quality of it in the end.

Last time I did it, I was on my last coat and a bug landed on one of the grill rings and f*ed up the whole damn thing. So, I'll probably go for it again, it's just painful to see how much time I've put into it, but the de-chrome looks so much better.

We'll see how bored I get / How much time I have / If my girl won't castrate me for spending so much time in the garage again.

If it's Lamin-X, the darkest one they use is 30%.

Thanks!
I actually got it done at a local shop and it's darker than 30%.

I did order pre-cut tint for my headlights from Lamin-X and it's the lightest they have....would u know the % for it?

The lightest tint they make for the headlights are 7%.

Headlight Covers, Headlight Film, Headlight Film Cover | Lamin-x

I considered trying those out too, but since I completely failed at trying to wrap the tail lights with Lamin-X, I figured it was worth leaving to a professional, which there are absolutely none in my area who will apply it.
