Re: JNAP Plant Tour

Thanks Shannon for sharing the pics.

If the boys at JNAP are reading this (and I assume they are) plenty of us Aussies would love a tour wink wink

There's just too much demand for them not to. And it's good PR.

But if (for whatever reason) they don't, then next year I'll try to get a few more coworkers to participate so more ppl can come.
An owners tour would be very cool. Great pictures shannon.

Completely agree! Very good publicity for them, and Jeep has such an engaged group. I hope somebody at corporate gets to hear about a bunch of guys that flew to the plant to see something they haven't even purchased yet!!!

Can you imagine how engaged those owners will be

Thank you again to Shannon, Brainstormer Vtail and especially Chevy and Marlon for making this one of the most engaging and exciting vehicle purchases of a lifetime.... and it ain't over yet!

Something that would be very special would be an invitation to the plant to watch"your" ordered Jeep go down the line. You could see your Jeep being created.

Re: JNAP Plant Tour

Thanks for posting. A great inside look at some of what goes on in JNAP.

Very cool to see Durangos and JGC mixed in on the line.

Thanks to Marlon and Chevboy for helping make this happen too, and thumbs up and thanks to the entire crew at JNAP for building our vehicles.

Re: JNAP Plant Tour

Thanks for sharing all those photos, Shannon! What a wonderful opportunity that was for you and the others to enjoy seeing how our great vehicles are made as well as to meet some of the super folks who make it all possible.

That was very kewel that they had all those vintage and other unique vehicles on display, too.

Re: JNAP Plant Tour

Thanks. Just great. Surprised they allowed photos with all their "secret" methods used at JNAP.

Nice pictures, especially with the different types of metal all color-coded. Where can I get one of these?

When we walked in, there was a sign saying no cameras so I was really bummed. We put the camera away (Thank god Chevy's wife had a purse big enough to put a kitchen sink in), then walked 50 feet to the Jeep body that everybody was signing (we all put our "John Hancock" on it too). One of the security guards asked if we wanted to take a picture buy the Jeep. Of course the answer was yes. We then asked if we could take pictures throughout the plant, and he said yes. I took this as my opportunity to snap away - I think you guys would have flogged and beaten me had I not come back with pictures for you.

Awesome pics, thanks for taking the time to post. There were a couple of pics you took that really showed how huge the plant is. Thanks again.

Thanks for all you've done for us on the forum! I would certainly enjoy taking a tour through the plant if it becomes available.
You've been more than helpful in trying to inform a bunch of people who are obsessing over our babies that are soon to arrive.
