Re: Judging distances

visibility really isn't that great since the beltline is somewhat high. I have trouble seeing where curbs are when pulling out of parking lots onto roads and it's actually kind of annoying at times. I've gotten used to it by now by remembering where curbs are so it's no big deal to me at all. I still love my Jeep. Oh and small windows are part of the reason the WK2's look so good IMO.[/QUOTE]

Glad to know I'm not the only one that feels this way.....thought it was just me. Having owned my Jeep now a little more than one year I've gotten used to it as well. I do enjoy driving my JGC and it handles great!

Re: Judging distances

My garage has two single 8 foot garage doors and I can pull in and park with no problem now. It took a few days to get the hang of it though.

Re: Judging distances

A friend of mine's wife had some issues parking the car in the garage. What he did was fool around a bit to get the car in the perfect orientation in the garage, then he hung a tennis ball on a string so it lined up front and center of the windshield when the car was parked perfect. While anyone was driving into the garage they used the ball to line up. That eliminated the problem his wife had with hitting the freezer every time she parked. (I always thought about how funny it would be to move the ball forward a few feet one day while they were out). LOL

I disagree entirely with the OP. From day one I found the WK2 easy to put exactly where video want. And I park exclusively in parking decks daily. Sorry.
