Re: Just Bought a 14 Summit, what are the must have accessories?

Don't know if you haul bicycles, but I picked up this hitch rack:

Products » Sherpa | Küat

Found it cheaper, with free shipping, at another online site.

Floor / cargo liners husky or weathertech, more expensive but worth the price, skid plates is a must have if you drive on rough terrain, second the sunshade recommendation too much leather in this car to leave it burning under the sun!

Are there any must have accessories? I am getting some floor mats. They asked if I wanted mudguards, but I wasn't sure how they would look. The were pushing hard for me to get the Simonize sealant for the paint, I passed since it sounded like a rip off for $800.

Congrats Qbeam beautiful ride, and awesome options, but embrace yourself to some software glitches.

Guys im thinking about adding a better air intake( i have zero knowledge on this, and i have not researched it) is it worth it?

Re: Just Bought a 14 Summit, what are the must have accessories?

The only accessories I bought for my MY12 Summit were a trailer brake controller and a mount for my iPhone.

I had drop stops in my Liberty and they worked great for keeping stuff from falling down the seat side, but I usually keep paperwork in the space between the seat and center console, so they got in the way for that. To me, it doesn't seem like there is enough space in my Summit to put a set, but I haven't tried.

But with that said, I have dropped my phone in the space and it is an absolute pain to retrieve it, so I may do what I did before - use one on driver side to keep from dropping things, but leave the passenger side out so I can store paperwork in that space.
