I assume you have a MY14 Summit, too?

If so, good to know that the skid plates fit. I recall reading a post claiming they wouldn't fit..

Yes I have a 2014 Summit, black The skid plates fit fine, I ordered them and installed them myself a week or two ago. No issues they bolted right on. Having a floor jack to raise and steady the gas tank skid plates into position does help as they are a little heavy. All 5 plates are about 117lbs all together if I remember correctly. I got all three part numbers for $416 including shipping. They will give a little piece of mind if you plan to use it on rougher terrain, doesn't look like it would take much to puncture those plastic gas tanks. Just depends on how you plan to use your Jeep. I can shot you some pictures if you want to see what they look like, let me know

Its pouring rain now so will try to snap a few tomorrow. A floor jack is not a requirement but it made it easier for me as the gas tank ones are a little heavy and awkward.

Here they are sorry they are not very good, is kind of a hard angle to get a decent picture. I took one of each of the 5 skid plates, hope that helps. They come with instructions, not many steps to it.

I love my Canvasback cargo liner, I ordered it direct and got the side pieces and rear apron. Works great.

Those skid plates are awesome...

Now if someone would just mount tow hooks on the front of a Summit...so we could see if it's even possible.

Trivia questions:

Did you order each individual part or was it a full kit?

Do you still have the part numbers?

Thank you!

Rich

it comes in kits for each location so 1 for axle, 2 transfer case, 2 fuel tank, I think justforjeeps have the part numbers, look for exterior acessories

Possible, but requires cutting/modifying the lower facia since the MY14 Summit doesn't have the openings for the tow hooks...it's marketed as a lux ride, rather than for off-road.

I hope someone comes out with a kit that allows for replacement of the lower facia to allow for a clean looking tow hook install, rather than me having to cut it. I chose the Summit for the lux ride, but I still expect my Jeeps to come with front tow hooks, they could have used hidden ones like they did for the trailer hitch...
