If you don't mind, what was your OTD price?

And I love a TH in white. Of course, I may also be slightly biased on that.

Re: Just got home from Koons w/ my new TH!

When I purchased my 16 JGC I took Amtrack to DC and used Metro to Koons. I had a relaxing inexpensive train ride and didn't have to fight the traffic.

Keep Amtrack in mind for those on the southeastern or northeastern corridor who want to deal with Koons.

I agree that Koons has the best pricing.

I agree with RDE...unless I was taking in a trade, if I were buying from Koons, I'd be taking the choo-choo down. I regularly drive this for work and for a personal task like picking up a new ride, I'd enjoy the quiet and restful train ride while reading to get there. Of course, I'd try to time things right to avoid peek times on the Metro, as that can be, um...less than pleasant.

Nice!!! IMO White and red with black combination looks great! I just don't have anything in stock the day i got mine. I settled for the Granite Gray. And add red stripe on the hood. Also, deleted the 2 resonators, installed Two 4 inch black chrome tips, K&N CAI and 6k hid headlight and fog light! Got 2 months ago and currently have 1200 miles!

Just got home from Koons w/ my new TH!

We have a 2017 Summit on order from Koons. This will be the third Jeep we have purchased from them using the Jeep Garage group buy. We live in central Virginia so we take Amtrak up to D.C. It is a great trip and we enjoy having breakfast in the dining car as we roll through northern Virginia. We arrive at Union Station a bit after 9 AM then take the Metro to Arlington National Cemetery to visit my wife's parents graves then catch it to Koons. After picking up the Jeep we head down the street to the Cheese Cake Factory for a great lunch and then head home. It makes for a great day and driving the new car home is the grand finale. I highly recommend the group buy program and using Amtrak to get to D.C. If that is an option from
where you live.

Re: Just got home from Koons w/ my new TH!

We are usually leaving there in the afternoon so it comes down to lunch and then the 4 hour drive home. We just happened to spot Cheesecake Factory and it was close by but we would certainly love to give somewhere else a try and gladly accept your suggestion.

Congrats on your purchase! I live in the Akron area also and got my Trailhawk back in November specified very similarly to yours (except black), and love it!
