Just picked up my 2015 Altitude

Just picked up my 2015 Altitude w POwer Sunroof/Lift Gate, 9 Speaker Upgrade, and Backup Camera/ Censor.

Love it so far. A few questions:

1. I declined dealer extended warranty. I know a few posts on here have mentioned a few different extended warranties on here. About a dealer in Michigan? Is it reputable? Worth it? I plan on keeping the car for at least 5 years.

2. The overwhelming consensus here for smoked tail lights are lamin-x. The best solution is to get the vinyl and have a tint person apply? And the chrome trim. I've heard mixed reviews about how this comes out with vinyl wrap. Most people say it is "good" but never "perfect" which would bother me.

3. For GA (Atlanta area people), can anyone recommend a good window tint person?

I am excited to drive this bad boy every day.

Nice Jeep
Concerning the extended service contract, ziegler online is a good fair price. Make sure to get the mopar not any third party plans. The mopar maxcare lifetime is a good deal if you plan to keep the jeep many years. The key is if you plan to keep it a long time. if you think you will get rid of it in 5 years i personally would not buy it. Your factory warranty is 3/36 bumpertobumper and 5/100 on powertrain so if you plan to keep it a good bit longer the extendeds can make sense.

Re: Just picked up my 2015 Altitude

depends where in GA. im in roswell/alpharetta area. both my parents have used Solarworks (hwy 9 near mansell road), and i used them for my two front windows. they do agreat job, i was in and out in 15-20 minutes for $120 or so) im sure they could do lamin-x, however i did mine myself. wasnt too bad, but ill probably get mine redone professionally. there is also Tint World on hwy 92 kindof near GA 400. both are very reputable in the roswell area.

Thanks. I'm in buckhead but work in Alpharetta. I will definitely give them a buzz and see if they can quote me for both. I can just swing by and do it on my lunch break.
