"Altitude" basically reduces down to "marketing".
As with any trim level/special edition, one must look carefully at what's included and what's available to determine if it's the right buy for them. The latter part is important...if there is something you want/desire and it's not available from the factory, you have to determine the cost to add it after-the-fact and whether or not you'd be better served by buying a different trim level and making cosmetic changes to please you.
