Key pin

Was anyone given the key PIN number when taking delivery of vehicle? Only one of my key fobs was programmed and dealer says they have to go back to USA to get the pin

Re: Key pin

No. Excuse seems odd. But even if he is being truthful, I'm sure the dealer must be able to get what he needs via email. I would be surprised if the PIN is sent on a freighter.

Re: Key pin

they just need to program it using the witech.. RFID module, add key. If your key was actually ever programmed to a different vehicle it will need to be replaced. As far as a PIN goes the service Dept can get it quickly over the internet. at lease thats how it went for me on my Charger with the same keys. (my father in law works for chrysler and he brings the witech to my house, logs in and I have a ball playing with everything it can do.)
I added and programmed my own OEM remote start and fog lights on a Charger. Remote start was new RFID module and 2 new keys, I wanted to also add my original keys but no go they only can be programmed one time
