Keyfob to roll windows down?

I was messing around the other day and I kept hitting the key fob in my front pocket....no biggie, took it out and placed it on the work bench. I got done what I was doing, got in the Jeep and realized that both front windows were rolled down slightly, both in the same exact location.

I tried to replicate this but was unable to. What sequence do I need to do to lower the windows?

unlock the doors and then hold the unlock button to the desired setting. press unlock again to stop them. Cant remember if you can roll them back up or not.

Re: Keyfob to roll windows down?

Same as Benz! My Benz also opens sun roof to vent! And closes it all if you forget without having to open up car again. Jeep does that too?

Re: Keyfob to roll windows down?

I found out about this today. looked out this morning and both front windows were halfway down. I had the fob in my pocket all night and must have pushed the buttons just right.
Its time to start treating the fobs in a different way. Oh it also rained last night.

Re: Keyfob to roll windows down?

From the Owner's Manual, p.25:
Remote Open Window Feature — If Equipped This feature allows you to remotely lower both front door windows at the same time. To use this feature, press and release the UNLOCK button on the RKE transmitter and then immediately press and hold the UNLOCK button until the windows lower to the level desired or until they lower completely.

Is there a setting to make this work? It doesn't seem to be working with my 2012 Summit.
