Unfortunately you CAN lock the fob in the Jeep. Found out the hard way....if you do it 3 times I. A row it will lock

Do what three times in a row? You'd think if you leave the FOB in the interior of the car, how can you lock it inside, without being able to unlock it? It should be close enough to be able to open either front door since it is keyless??

This is how it works. No brake + one push = ACC. No brake + one push = ON. Brake + one push = START. No brake + 3 pushes = OFF, and by the way, now you're playing with it.

Thanks for the info. I decided to go old school and have the push button removed. Creature of habit I guess. Wasn't comfortable driving around with all my keys in my pocket.

Re: Keyless Go *If you don't want it*

I'm torn on this. I loooooove new gizmos and technology. We had a rental G37 with the keyless stuff, I liked it. I like not having the keys brushing against my knee. But, I still feel strange having the keys in my pocket while driving, along with pulling the not-a-key out to get in the car, etc. I can get over the habits I guess, the tech is cool

I'm curious, does it lock itself when you walk away? Or do you have to get the key out and hit the lock button?

Re: Keyless Go *If you don't want it*

There is a senor in the handle, you dont need to take the fob out of your pocket. It will unlock when you go to pull the handle, so lock/unlock all door there is a small button on the tailgate and the front door handles which you can press.

Re: Keyless Go *If you don't want it*

So that button can be used to lock it up and arm the alarm, just the same as if you press the lock button on the fob? Sounds sweet.

Extra sweet for when the ladies can't find their keys, but still have them "somewhere" in their cavernous shoulder bags
