Re: Laredo vs. Laredo X

For MY14 there is no Laredo X. It is now called Limited. So to get the prior Limited you need to order the Luxury pkg., but you still don't get Nav. Who comes up with these??

In my mind Luxury Package without Navigation is like... well you know what I mean.

Re: Laredo vs. Laredo X

I agree. I drove a pretty loaded MY14 Limited with a lot of bells and whistles, the big screen...and no nav. Whats the point in that?

Re: Laredo vs. Laredo X

Point is they can make 500 dolla x 300000 units=150000000.00 less partnership and licensing fees by doing that on top of the regular expense. The whole WK2 has been such a great success for Jeep and they know it, so now they are taking advantage of the opportunity with a great vehicle and trying to milk it for everything its worth. I think its a waste of 500 large to add this when you can blue tooth your phone with the Jeep and have the little Google navigation lady scream over your speakers for which exit to take LOL. ChryFi has probably restricted that feature to allow that LOL.

Re: Laredo vs. Laredo X

The salesman told me himself its very hard for them to sell one without nav, and they hate it when they get them shipped that way.

Why would I want a $44,000 vehicle with a huge screen and have to stick my phone up on my dash instead of built in navigation?

Not to mention when it comes resale time, the oddball one without nav is going to be worth considerably less. Stupid.

I don't care about them charging $500, they should just all come with nav.
