Lease pull ahead?

When I leased my '14 Altitude GC last May, the salesman mentioned that Jeep offers lease pull ahead options halfway through the lease. Can anyone confirm this? Or is there anyone who has a '13 lease that may be over soon and has been offered to pull ahead to a new one?

I'm curious because my altitude did not come with the Back up Camera or Nav and I know the '15's do come with them.

Thanks

Re: Lease pull ahead?

You can almost always do an early turn-in with Jeep for little or no penalty. Lease cars are in high demand right now, and the dealership will likely pay you fat cash for that thing this time of year. Find out how much your current buyout is and ask the dealer how much they'll pay you for it. You may even make money on the deal.

The 15's have an optional backup camera. You will be required to also add on the 9-speaker system. I think the cost is around $1200 to add them. What I'm saying is to make sure you verify the 15' has the backup cam. I saw a few of them on the lot without it.

Re: Lease pull ahead?

This is interesting. Based on my searching over the past month, almost every used '12+ GC is a lease turn-in. The opposite is true of Tahoe's; they are mostly rental units. That is part of the reason we are driving a GC now

Nothing wrong with rentals. I have been in wholesale automotive for 8 years and I got my girldfriend, my mom, and several friends into used rental rockets.

Rental companies are required by federal law to maintain their vehicles to the highest standards.

The only real concerns I have with rentals is the same as with any used car - paint work, accidents, carfax, autocheck.

Here's your auction results for GCs over the last 2 weeks. Laredo, V6, 2WD. Let me know if you want to see anything else.
