Re: Leather "Inserts"

Well that's the industry for ya. Can never tell what the hell they were thinking or why they do stupid stuff like that. I understand and agree on how you feel and would feel the same. Sucks! Otherwise, it's still a badass ride!!!!

Re: Leather "Inserts"

It is a bad ass ride and I am hopefully ordering one soon. First I was waiting to see the saddle, they waiting for the electronic package, and now the new nav. (the voice command would be a very welcome feature for me)

My dealer is still claiming the saddle can be ordered but it is on hold. We'll see.

To me its a small detail that takes a little away from the car (Overland). Especially at $45K. For all the big talk about how no expense was spared...well, there was.

Looks like it may be a non-issue now though.
If you think getting vinyl side bolsters on a $45K Jeep seems cheap then I'll bet you've never priced out a full leather interior on a Porsche! Try well over $3K just to replace the vinyl inserts, closer to $7K for full leather.......

No problem with paying attention to details - it is a lot of money for a vehicle and I agree you shouldn't have any regrets for that price range- I got the frost and am very happy with it-had thought about waiting for saddle but decided I really liked the frost -good luck with whatever you order/buy!
I have one PSU grad and another set for May-maybe you want to consider getting the Blackberry Pearl for PSU colors?

Sounds like you have 2 very intelligent children!

I had a navy blue car when I was a student at PSU. Since then only black cars. I see and like other colors but I always gravitate to black. I would consider silver or red.
