Re: Limited Perforated Seats vs. Overland Seats

I read the Overland leather is a different material and of course you get the contrast stitching and such but to be honest I really only checked out Overlands so can't compare from personal experience.

Also that parking brake position for export vehicles with right side steering wheels helps explains why Jeep may be going to an Ebrake soon.

The leather on the Limited with the LUXII package is the same leather (Nappa) that you will find in the Overland. Differences are: Limited gets contrast stitching with the black interior no piping, Light Frost gets color matched stitching, no piping. Both are perforated to allow the ventilated seats to work.

If you get a base Limited you get Capri leather, no perforation but some pleated pant looking stuff, black interior still gets contrast stitching, no piping.

Re: Limited Perforated Seats vs. Overland Seats

We have a 2014 Limited with Lux II. Love the seats. I originally thought we'd end up with an Overland, but when I saw the Lux II package and seats on the Limited I changed my mind. Glad I did.

Re: Limited Perforated Seats vs. Overland Seats

When I go through the configurator and build a Limited with the Lux II package, then go to the end and click on show standard features, it says "#6 seat foam cushion." When i build an Overland, go the end, and click standard features, it says "#5 seat foam cushion."

I am not sure what this means regarding whether the Limited's Lux II seats are different than the Overland's seats. The Overland probably does use #5 seat foam cushion material. But it could be:

1) The #6 seat foam may be for only the base model seats on the Limited, and you get #5 cushion foam on the Lux II seats.

-or-

2) The seats of the Limited always use the #6 (inferior?) foam.
