Limited Perforated Seats vs. Overland Seats

I've tried to find a good picture online, or a dealer around here that has a Limited with luxury group II, but no such luck. Are the seats that would come in the limited with that package, the same seats as the Overland, minus the piping and the overland logo? Does anyone here have a limited with luxury group II that could provide some good pictures of those seats if they are different. I know both use the nappa leather, but haven't found much info beyond that.

They are the same, but yes less piping and Overland
Here is the interior of my Limited with Lux II.

Overland for comparison

Re: Limited Perforated Seats vs. Overland Seats

When I was looking I had a salesman try to tell me the leather was somehow different. He stated they could "smell" the difference. Um, yeah. I don't know, maybe. I think I just want to believe the Overland has a more brushed seat or something but my guess is they are identical minus the piping/badge.

Sure is odd looking. And that parking brake pedal sure looks like its in a bad spot. But I guess you get used to it.

It blows, I HATED it when we test drove, thought it would drive me insane.
I don't mind it so much. Me at 6'5" size 13 shoes, no so concerned, the misses 5'4" size 8, drives her nuts, go figure.
It is far from ideal. Toyota Kluger is in the same position, but not as intrusive, when released it raises right up out of the way.

Re: Limited Perforated Seats vs. Overland Seats

what is meant by "piping"?
"Piping" as in ventilation ducts? I got the ventilated seats in my Jeep and I couldn't tell a difference to an Overland for cooling capacity.

If "piping" refers to stitching, then yes, the Overland seats have more stitches and the logo.

Piping is the round tubular material that accents the seat edges. You know, the stuff that cracks first and looks bad as it ages....Lol. My Limited Lux2 seats are identical to those in the pics and feel great.
