I'm trying to get the price on the new altitude down. Original MSRP is 41680 they want 39500 with out TTL. I still think this is too high even for every bell and whistle in the 2015 altitude. Does any one have any more input on this matter. What do you guys think. Also located in CT and our sales tax is 6.35%

I was gonna say the same thing as user protect1989. Didnt this thread pretty much answer your exact question? The price you mention is too high. Just look at examples given in this thread.
As far as the OP having purchased the vehicle for his mom. Ehh, I sorta side with MOFSTEEL here. I know he didn't flaunt it, but he did mention it in his post that he bought it for his mom. I always feel when someone makes a post saying somewhat far out things like that, or "paying cash" for the car is kind of showing off and the OP just waiting for the attention from that. Maybe that's not the case here I don't know, but when your current vehicle is a 2008 Laredo, then it raises a few flags. Besides, unless you were very well off then no mom in a situation where she needs to be bought a car would let a family member spend $40,000 on one lol. My mom is actually due for a new car as her 04 WJ Limited is approaching 140,000 miles. If I told her I was gonna buy her a new $40,000 Grand Cherokee she would tell me I'm nuts and say absolutely not.
But anyway it's true it really doesn't matter one way or the other as far as we are concerned here. If someone is well off enough to be able to do that, and your mom is willing to let you do that then that's awesome! Wish I was lol
