Saw this in front of my office just now. Additional lights: on the rear truck corner glass, trunk glass and a led light on either side of the rear license plate.
Interesting. I think the Federal police here in Australia are using WK2 in the Prime Ministers protection detail. I've seen them in the background on the tv news.
Ambulance? Unless they are using the Jeep as an actual ambulance, then they cannot have red lights. Only green.
Red lights in NYS can be used if you are an authorized emergency vehicle or a fire vehicle (like a chief)
Ambulance volunteers use green, fire use blue.
So... im going to guess its a Fire chief or and undercover.
^A friend of mine who used to have a SRT-8 was a VAS in NY and he had red white and blue lights all hooked up on his Jeep. His screen name is Boom Boom.
That's an ambulance IMO. But hey I can be wrong. lol
It is some sort of volunteer either fire or EMS. Out in Long Island the Vollys buff out big time like the photo shown above. Some cars out here have light packages that are worth more than the car they are driving. They use all sorts of different colors red blue white lights it does not matter the police don't care.
Could be an EMT's POV or an ambulance service "emergency response vehicle" (aka, fly car), the latter being a means of getting Advanced Life Support to a Basic Life Support ambulance crew.
Most of the Jeeps used in Fire, Rescue, Police, and EMS are the Laredo models, bought cheap on state contract pricing.
I saw an undercover cop in a WK2 pull someone over the other day for what looked like speeding here in Orlando, FL. I did a double take when I drove past.
I drove by a gas station in Omaha, Nebraska a couple weeks ago (144th and Blondo) and there were several people outside on cell phones, an Ambulance in the middle of the station with it's lights flashing and a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Granite color with plates that looked like they were specific to the County or City.
