Re: Lost the jeep today I think?

Well we picked up a 16 75th granite Laredo for a good deal. Pocketed a few grand that I'll use to put a couple upgrades on. All in all worked out well considering. I'll post pics when we get it. Thanks for everyone's support.

Glad to rear it worked out ok for you.

I have new car replacement with Allstate, so hopefully I won't have to downgrade just because some moron wrecks my car. I even changed insurance to get that feature. Good for first 2 years of ownership.

That's what I had as well. Worked out really well. I was able to pocket the difference.

I also have the same car replacement with Allstate. While I don't like to read of people getting into accidents it is good to hear they got this resolved for you quickly. Glad this worked out for you. How about some pics of the new rig, or did I miss them?

I agree! Those Goodyear Fortera tires are awful OEM tires! Get rid of them and get something better!!

I'm going to pick it sometime at the end of next week. Will post pics when I bring it home.

Allstate has been great with me as well. $18k+ estimated damages but they keep insisting that I should not sign check until I am 100% satisfied with the repairs. This is why I have insurance.

Re: Lost the jeep today I think?

Although it could possibly vary from state to state, Allstate's definition of New Car is the latest model year available. If the '17s were out on the date of the accident, they owe you for a '17.

Before I retired I had to have the home office folks explain that to my local management, even though it was clearly spelled out in our training material. Too often lower management bends the rules to make themselves look good. Sometimes they overlook all important definitions.

I had the pick 16 or 17 just the discounts were bigger on the 16's. I wish the 2017 altitude IV was out I probably would of went with that but I'm just glad to have something new again.

Re: Lost the jeep today I think?

So we picked it up yesterday. Overall very happy with it. My 15 altitude might have had a sportier look but I think this is a better jeep with the upgraded 3.6 which on first impressions I can tell the difference. Very happy with the Michelin premier ltx's which are super smooth. I never had any issues with the 15 shifter but the new shifter is hands down better. Grabbed my afe filter and my husky matts from the 15 put them in the new one. Going to order the sprintbooster and some rear Bilstein and throw the hellwig rear bar on and go from there. Does that version come with the LED headlights that contain the bulbs and LED day time running lights?
