Love my Jeep in deep snow

We finally got a good 6 to 8 inches of heavy wet snow last night and early this morning, with some 2 to 3 foot drifts in spots. My Jeep handled impeccably, and I found myself driving through the deepest snow piles I could find. It was awesome and I found myself bonding more with my Jeep and having an emotional experience

The Duratrac's I've had on for a while helped. I felt like I could have driven through anything (even though I know that isn't exactly true!).

The right tires definitely make the difference. My wife's stock latitudes that are almost due for replacement definitely get her through the snow, but if she comes to a complete stop in a pile, it may be a little tricky to get going again.

We won't get deep snow in NJ for the next 5 years while I own this. It usually only snows when I go back to a car for a year or so. We were supposed to get 30" last week and I woke up to a dusting. I was pissed.

At least that heavy snow only missed you by 50 miles or so!

Looking forward to our heavy March snows that usually come, the really heavy wet stuff.

Ahh, who can forget the winter of 2009-10. Memories, sweet memories.
