Love that Hemi

After a week of owning my new Overland I can't get over what a difference the Hemi is. Today I had a new 11 Charger pull up next to me and when he took off that thing had a real nice sound from the exhaust. I was thinking that would look real nice next to my Overland in the garage. I would have 2 Hemi's in the garage.

Re: Love that Hemi

I'm in before the hemi haters too. Look forward to my next Jeep being a 5.7L V8 Hemi. Have the 4.7L V8 now which is decent, but not the noticible power increase I should expect from the Hemi.

Are there some? All I see are people happy with what they bought, even if the powerplant is only a six-pot.

I love my Hemi also. It's great that they offer the V6 as well, I know that many people are happy with their V6's.

I think the base motor should be the 5.7 360HP Hemi, the 6.4 465HP Hemi motor should be an option on all trim levels, and a supercharged Hemi engine should be in the SRT.

Enough of this small engine no torque v6 crap. If you want good gas mileage, buy a Prius not a big Jeep SUV.

Re: Love that Hemi

I wish a Hemi would fit in the new Fiat 500 I'm about to get to park beside the V8 Overland. Now that would be a sweet ride!

I would love if Chrysler would put the 6.4 in the Overland, I had an SRT8 Jeep for almost 5 years and it was a lot of fun but I needed more utility and off road capability in an everyday car.
