Love these LED DRL's!

Love the DRL's of the '14!!!

Some have said the front end looks less aggressive than previous years, but many people have told me how mean my front end looks and i've only had it a few days.

The LED's really complete the front end and make it look aggressive.

Also love how it reflects in the car in front of me:

Re: Love these LED DRL's!

I'm looking forward to having DRLs. I end up driving with the headlights on most of the time since it's dark and gloomy around here for half the year and then in the summer all of the trees cast dark shadows on the streets which seems to make our black Jeep invisible to many motorists.

Re: Love these LED DRL's!

I wanted to see how my DRLs would look. So, I set them on in the evic and started the Jeep, no DRLs. I set the brake and put the Jeep in drive. I read the OM and found that setting the brake turns them off.

So basically Jeep doesn't want you to see them on your own car.

I picked a friend up for lunch and asked her to check that they were working. As a former GC owner her response was, what the heck are they supposed to be. She got in so I could take a look. My answer was, I don't have a clue. We both agreed they are ugly and went to lunch.

Well, to each their own.

Re: Love these LED DRL's!

If you think they're ugly, just drive with your lights on all the time...they'll be much less noticeable.

I love them and use my remote start all the time just so I can see them before I get in it.

Re: Love these LED DRL's!

They do give the '14 a more agressive look, the problem is, the front-end itself doesn't look agressive to match the lights. Kind of reminds of people that throw in cheap aftermarket headlights off ebay. I just looked at a handful of 14s and if I were to go with a 14, it would be a limited with the standard projector style housing over the LED, but I dislike the fact that I'd be stuck with less interior options in general.

I'd like them better if they were these, euro-style with clear corners:

No kidding. I went through the same hassle trying to see how my LED DRL bulbs were. I still don't know if they look white or blue. Based on the reflection on the wall of my garage before the lights come on, they're both.

I may just go back to normal bulbs, lol.

I do agree though, the LED DRLs on the '14s just don't fit the car. I'm also sick of everyone trying to rip off Audi's design cue, they could at least try something new and original! I'm also not keen on the fact that the LEDs look so damn similar to the LEDs on the 300.
