Maintenance Plan Question

For those of you that bought one, what was the term length for? How much did you pay? Also, do you know if it includes the scheduled maintenance based on the Schedule A or Schedule B? Schedule B is for rougher conditions like temperatures over 90 which is all summer here in south texas, dusty conditions, etc. I want to make sure it would include Schedule B intervals and not Schedule A. Thanks in advance for the replies!

Re: Maintenance Plan Question

I bought the Lifetime unlimited mileage Max protection plan for 2300 bucks on Thursday from my dealer when I picked up my brand new Hemi Jeep:

http://www.chryslerwarrantys.com/maximum_care.cfm

Here is what it looks like when you register your VIN at Jeep.com, login to the owners portal and select "My Service contracts":

Description NEW MAXIMUM CARE (FOR VEHICLES WITH 5/100 WARRANTY)
Expires on 2094-06-27 or 999999 miles
Start Date 2011-03-28
Deductible Per Repair $100.00
Towing Coverage $100 Roadside Assist 800-521-2779
Rental Car Allowance $35.00 per day for a maximum of $175.00
Max Rental Days 5

Thanks for the reply Alpha but I'm talking about the Maintenance Plans you can buy that cover all scheduled maintenance for 5 years etc. not the lifetime max care warranty. BTW--you seem to know of the chryslerwarranty site so why did you pay $2300 to your dealer for the lifetime maxcare plan with the $100 deductible? It's $2235 minus the $185 coupon you get in your e-mail after you visit the site and don't purchase the first time making the final price $2050 which is also the same as the price on eservicecontracts.com. I think you should cancel the plan you just got from your dealer and buy there or tell him you want $250 back or you'll just cancel and buy it on the net (you have 60 days). Just trying to help you save some cash.

Anyone who buys a third party warranty plan is a fool.

Re: Maintenance Plan Question

Yea chryslerwarrantys.com is a Chrysler dealer selling the service contracts online at a significant discount. I assume they sell quantity, which is why they offer it at near cost, thus to increase sales. Its not a third party warranty. Its chryslers own.

True enough, but the maintenance plan the OP asked about is not from a third party and is not a warranty plan.

When I bought the "no-cost maintenance plus" plan, I confirmed that it covers oil changes every 4000 miles instead of 8000. When I went in for my first oil change, the computer showed 36 pre-paid oil changes, so that's 144,000 miles of heavy-use driving.

Re: Maintenance Plan Question

BUMP--Still looking for the answer to my original question and I know others are as well. Let's keep this about the MAINTENANCE plans and NOT THE EXTENDED WARRANTIES...there are several threads about that. Thanks!

Re: Maintenance Plan Question

Also, does a maintenace plan from a Jeep dealer include tire rotations? What about road force balancing, is that included?

And what about Alignments, is that included and if so, how often?
