Its hard to say as I do not do dyno-testing. I also don't know how aggressive the stock 2011 PCM calibration is. I have 2 friends with 2011 and 2012 5.7 Rams, and if their data is anything like what is on the Jeeps, the 5.7 cal is WAY rich especially over 5000 rpms and leaves alot on the table. This is consistent with other Chrysler PCM calibrations I have seen in the last few years.

The data I have indicates that on a WK1 Hemi, the gains are around 10-15 crank/flywheel HP on a stock tune with minor bolt-ons. I would expect a stock WK2 Hemi to gain about the same.

Probably because the Jeep is the better choice??? And, what's wrong with wanting more performance out of a given engine?

By the way, Jeep just displaced Ford as the most reliable American manufacturer! How's that for a turnaround based on their latest offerings?

I dont have a hemi in our JGC however i do in my Ram and this is my 2nd 5.7 Ram. with my current set-up im lowballing 450hp on the motor. prolly closer to 360 at the wheels through parasitic loss but yes, they are fairly simple to gain power out of. mine is an 09, which is the same as the 2012 5.7L's just has differant encryption software for aftermarket company's to crack.
Ive got a SC Cortex, K&N Aircharger, Magnaflow and a few others that add here and there. the tune i run adds 44hp to the stock 390hp rating (dyno proven). thats the biggest gain out of anything. the 5.7L is avery strong engine, its the transmission they match it to that causes all the problems, thats why im on my 2nd Hemi Ram.

my buddy has an older ram hemi with better gears and i can walk all over him any day of the week even with my 3.55's. and he has a differant tune, CAI, and exhaust, but all comparable to mine. the Eagle VVT Hemi is simply a beast.
