Nope, it's only exposed to 12k of bumper to bumper but still covered under power train warranty..... they price it up for your mileage and warranty status.

Re: Maxcare opinions

I've been thinking about get an extend warranty on my '13 Trailhawk. I tend to keep my vehicles more than 5-6 years.

From "chryslerwarrantys.com" I was quoted (via web site) $2,885.00 for the 96 month / 120k mile / 2021 maximum care plan. Looking at the "covered" list it doesn't mention anything about the QL components. I haven't called them, but I'd want that explicitly identified on the plan.

Curious, anyone purchase a warranty thru them?

Re: Maxcare opinions

The Mopar MaxCare Extended Service Contract is "inclusive" so yes, the QL components are covered. The only things NOT covered are a few specifically identified things including wear items. There are a number of online providers of these plans including the one you mention. I purchased mine from Ziegler.

I can attest that it is covered. I asked and also verified in the contract when I got it. That and the water pump were my biggest concerns. Little did I know the PS leak was what broke me even on the cost of the warranty.

As Jim and Dean said, no worries. While my plan doc specifically lists "air suspension" as covered the listing of items covered is informational and not a full listing as it states "COMPONENTS COVERED BY THE PLAN INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):".

Ultimately, here is the most important wording that TTBOMK is in every plan doc (exact quote):

COVERAGE UNDER THE PLAN: WHAT IS COVERED?

The only exceptions are those listed under “What is not covered by the Plan”.

FWIW, the water pump is covered under the Powertrain warranty so hopefully you are still in the green.

Never had a problem with the (knock on wood) water pump or air suspension yet. Only things I have had go wrong were fuel injector, coil pack and the steering rack. It will figure if the pump does go soon since I just spent $75 in coolant to change it out. Lol.
Good to know the pump is powertrain though!

Re: Maxcare opinions

Just took mine into the shop for the first time on the lifetime maxcare to replace a blown rear shock and I'm getting a new radio as well. Didn't bother with the rental as I have two other vehicles and the dealer drove me home and picked me up the next day when it was ready.

I opted for the lifetime as I bought this vehicle for my retirement and I plan to keep it a long time.

Re: Maxcare opinions

I have a 2017 Trailhawk on order. I am currently not driving a lot of miles but plan to keep this vehicle for a long time. Leaning towards the lifetime unlimited miles maxcare plan with $100 deductible.

My question is this. If you take the vehicle in and let's say there's a problem with the power seats and the air conditioning. You get both fixed in one visit. Is that a $200 repair or a $100 repair.

I believe you can get 3 things fixed under one deductible payment....

Deductable is $100 per visit not per issue.
