Re: Maxcare opinions

I plan on keeping mine thru the warranty period I purchased. 6/100. If I use it and get my money's worth great..If I don't.. No problem.
Once I get to either 6yrs or 100K I will decide if the vehicle is acting dependably enough to keep longer. If so, it can stay for another year or so..If not, time for something new....

Re: Maxcare opinions

I got my dealer to match Ziegler's price on the maxcare lifetime for my TH and because I'm in NC, I get one transfer. Contract reflects the transfer clause so I'm good to go. The dealer tried to sell me a 3rd party plan but I insisted on the Mopar plan and the price. They gave and I'm a happy camper.

Maxcare opinions

Like peckmv I never buy the extended warranty on anything. My logic is that by the time it needs to be fixed I'm gonna want a new one anyway, when it comes to electronics appliances or whatever. I'm considering maxcare for my 17 TH tho because this could very well finally be the one I keep forever. Right now I'm in love with the thing and it's a killer road trip machine and awesome daily driver. But 10 years from now I picture it being a toy to take off roading and whatnot. How cool would it be to have a 10 year old beater that's still covered...
