Re: Maxcare opinions

Yeah, the JK is out of warranty and ineligible, haven't needed it either (knocks on wood)

The Trailhawk has too many computers, modules and electrical gizmo's that a lifetime warranty made sense for my peace of mind.

You do know you can cancel the one you bought and re-buy with no fee or cost right? Seriously. My dad bought a lifetime from the dealer and got raped. I called them up and presented them with Zieglers price and said we were going to cancel. They refunded and matched without hesitation. EDIT: I misread you post disregard

I am bougth a 2017 today. I am buying through Ziegler to avoid paying sales tax.

I referred to this new dynamic in my earlier post. In your dad's case it worked out because the selling dealer kept the contract...there are current reports, and involving Zieglers, where had your dad cancelled and then tried to write a new lower cost plan thru Zieglers, they would have not been able to write a new one per FCA new policy. I can't say this is a 100% thing now and I am sure folks are doing the full cancel the dealer 1 plan and re-writing cheaper thru dealer 2 but FCA it is definitely aware of this and actively trying to thwart it.

Anyone wanting to do this should be sure to pre-flight your intents by the new writing dealer to ensure you don't encounter a "can't" after you have cancelled your old one...

I did the same thing. They refunded my money with no problem. The warranty my dealer sold was nowhere near as good as Max Care. And the price was nowhere near Ziegler's.

yeah that was a non-FCA to an FCA...FCA to FCA may be a problem now as others have been denied the re-write due to corporate awareness and crackdown....

Re: Maxcare opinions

So which places offer the best pricing on maxcare warranty's? My brother is looking at buying a 2015 Limited or Overland and wants to check out pricing.

I see a lot of guys use Ziegler.
