disappearing right after I make an appointment with my dealership to get it checked out. This has happened for the 3rd time tonight as I was coming home from work.

Obviously, I will get it to the dealership tomorrow to have them diagnose it, but meanwhile, it'd be great if any of you have any insight into this issue or tell me if you have experienced it. Detailed symptoms/conditions below:

-Took delivery 8/26/11
-11 Laredo X V6 4x4
-2xxx miles
-3rd time turning on
-It turns on within 1 mile of turning the car on and driving off driveway/lot
-Has gone away after a few on/off cycles, usually within 2 days
-This happened when I used Remote Start, all three instances.
-When the CEL/MIL was on, I used Remote Start twice, and both times the car shut off after a minute or two
-No noticeable noise/problems
-Gas cap double checked
-Gas used were different brands each time/fill up (Mobil, Shell, BP, Sam's)

Real curious to see what the problem could be...

Update in case anyone runs into this problem:

Dealership *thinks* it's the knock sensor failure, and ordered me a new part. It will go in next week, and unfortunately, they have to take apart the engine.

Also had them repair my headliner on passenger side A pillar popping out... and they just tucked it back in and said that's all they can do. ::sigh::

^sorry to hear. Hopefully they can figure this out. I will update as I find out what's wrong.

Ok, so 2nd MIL, and the trans started shifting weird.

Symptoms:
-Shifts are delayed and each gear is held on longer than typical at peak rpm (whether it is at 3000 rpm or 5500 rpm, the needle hangs on longer).
-Gas mileage is shot to shit. Registering below 17, and I live in the suburbs with quite a bit of freeway driving. I have a v6.
-Rough idle, but I could be mistaken.
-Mileage at 35xx.
-ECO light never comes on.

Diagnosis
-First stated that it is the trans acting up, but do not know what's wrong. May need to take apart the trans. I was then later told that it is indeed the knock sensor again (as well as the trans), and they will take more time to diagnose the problem.

I am currently driving a base Fiat 500 as a rental while my beloved JGC is in service. They have absolutely no idea what is wrong, and have taken my engine apart to figure out the problem. I live and work by Chrysler HQ and the dealership claims that their Chrysler tech has told them to check a couple more things and then install a "blackbox" and drive it around for a while to figure out what is wrong from the data collected.

I am quite pissed off at this point only because I have a trip coming up for Thanksgiving and I had planned on driving. I want to take my Jeep because I need to drive my parents, my dog, and our luggage... Rather hard to accomplish in a Fiat 500.

On a side note, Fiat 500 sucks.

^if the dealers techs, as well as the Chrysler techs, can't figure out what the problem is, pulling the code at Autozone won't help much. I'm assuming the wk2 to has OBDII, and that won't be read any different at Autozone than the dealership, no?

Correct. Unless they aren't reading the codes properly or haven't hooked it up which I'm sure they have, then it will be no different.

Update; while they haven't really figured it out, they replaced my engine harness and will put a data recorder to see what's happening.

My service advisor has been greatly helpful and also got me out of the Fiat 500 into a very base JGC (both through Enterprise, who hasn't been very helpful until I pushed and argued and started demanding things).

So, once I return from my TN trip, hopefully they will have resolved the issue. Will update afterward.
