Re: Mineral Gray

While you may be able to order a Mineral Gray with saddle interior next week, will that still be a "restricted" order until the middle of October as previously published? We may not see one of these in a dealer's showroom until about Christmas, so waiting patiently is prudent!

Every picture I have seen of the gray has made me want to get one. I think but I could be wrong that it is the car in the commercial coming across the river. Anyone know?
This sales guy showed me a car and said "here it is the Mineral Gray" but it was clearly the dark charcoal. They remain clueless. That's why this forum is so valuable.

Ya Inferno all the way, I've seen all colors except White gold and Mineral grey in person and it's the best by far IMO. (Biased caus I bought one)

Congratulations on your purchase. What interior did you get?
I've moved the Inferno to first choice with Black interior but I am waiting to see what the Saddle looks like. It sounds like from the engineers chat last PM that most of the "late availability" issues will be settled in a few weeks. I may get serious about this sooner than I thought.

I've seen dk charcoal in person, and this pic is the closest representation i've found in sunlight. I saw one parked next to a black one on an overcast/cloudy day and you could barely tell the difference.

Your pic is a good representation of the couple I've seen on dealer lots, too. It's much darker than Mineral Gray, and not metallic. Here's a couple pics of one on a slightly overcast day. It, and also the green one, looked dark that day. But not as dark as cranberry can look.

Re: Mineral Gray

I just got off the phone with my Jeep dealership and the sales rep told me that his manager checked on the status of my Mineral Gray Overland just a few minutes ago and it has a slated arrival date of the 20th of September.

Now I know that I should take this date with a grain of salt, I've read that many members have already received several arrival dates that have now passed. He also told me that anyone who says that Mineral Gray isn't in production yet is flat-out wrong. I know it probably won't be at the stealership in 10 days, but that would be pretty sweet if it is.

There's at least two people on the forum who work for chrysler.. One builds the Jeeps and the other member I'm not sure exactly what he does, but he knows everything.. Marlon who builds the Jeeps, has Never seen a mineral gray WK2, they aren't being built yet. Do you have the last eight of your VIN? If you become a JG supporter you can have your vehicle tracked by Milous.. He'll tell you the real deal on your status, if its built, whats going on, etc.. Many of us are getting our vehicles tracked, mine was built on the 3rd, ordered July 31st, still not on a rail car. As you mentioned, take dates as a good sign, but nothing to rely on.

Best of luck!
