Mirror Caps

Anyone remove the mirror caps? I have the instructions, it's just that I am a little nervous about the "prying" the mirror off part.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Mirror Caps

No fear of breaking the mirror glass?

I just purchased some 3m matte black vinyl and am going to remove the caps so I can get a good clean install.
