Mirror not dimming?

Got my 2014 JGC Limited with 3.6L and all is good. Love the vehicle and everything seems to work pretty much as expected except:

When I turn on the mirror dimming feature on the 8.4 touch panel, the left outside and center rear view mirrors seem to dim. The one outside the passenger doesn't dim no matter what I do. Is it supposed to/is this a problem?

One other thing someone may know about. When I set the volume for GPS voice guidance, it stays that way until I shut off the car. The next time I start the car, the volume is at some setting totally different from that. It never seems to come back with the same setting.

Re: Mirror not dimming?

When the lady in the dash is speaking, adjust the volume with the knob, instead of the touch screen. That works sometimes.

Re: Mirror not dimming?

I believe the passenger mirror no longer dims on the "refreshed" (WK2.5) Limited.

Re: Mirror not dimming?

I don't recall if the passenger mirror dimming option is part of the Luxury II or Advanced Technology Group package, but it is one of them.

Re: Mirror not dimming?

Must not be supposed to dim then. Seems weird to have two that do and one that doesn't. I sent a question fo Jeep about it.

The other question (how do you save voice guidance volume settings) is more annoying. It is different every time I get in the car.

Re: Mirror not dimming?

"Automatically-Dimming Exterior Passenger Mirror" is part of the Advanced Technology Package.
