Missing item on new car

I picked up a 2011 GC limited yesterday. Didn't realize till late in the afternoon that the navigation option is missing. It has the 430 media center, not the 430N as listed on my purchase order. Any advice on how to handle this?

Re: Missing item on new car

I would definitely bring it back to dealership and they can swap out a new nav unit for you. Where did you get it from Scap?

Re: Missing item on new car

update - the dealership is ordering a new 430N and will install it next week. Problem resolved. Lesson learned - check all the components yourself, your friendly salesperson may miss something.

I thought the NAV was standard on the Overland. At least on the Jeep site that is what it shows. Is this correct?

I didn't specify a radio on my order thinking the NAV was the standard.

Never mind, I just re-read the OP message and he ordered a GC Limited and not the Overland.

Re: Missing item on new car

I had the exact same issue on my Limited. Took about a month to get it in and resolved.

Make sure to look the dash over real well afterwards.

Also - make sure they take care of transferring your Sirius subscription over !

Success. Dealer swapped out 430 with 430N last Friday. And... no dings on the dash board.

Greenwich Chrysler Jeep. Great experience. Second car bought from them. First was a 2005 Wrangler Rubicon.
