You don't "switch on" DRLs. If they're enabled, they're on all the time when you don't have the low/high beams activated (the traditional "headlight on" positions). With the HIDs on the Limiteds and Overlands in the US, if the engine is running and the headlights aren't on, you have DRLs on.

Re: Modifying Laredo with Limited/Overland options?

That it clear, but I was referring to the Canadian spec Laredo from SixZeroFour

DRL are NOT high beam at half power on WK2....these are specific bulbs just for the DRL. High beams are separate.

They are on my WK2. The outer bulb is the regular headlight, inner bulb is the DRL and also activates at full power when the brights are on. We are talking about the Laredo with halogen housings

Off topic, but I saw the pic of the new GC with SRT rims posted by radside and think it looks GREAT.

Re: Modifying Laredo with Limited/Overland options?

I have HIDs and I disabled the nanny-state DRLs because it looks stupid and the negligible benefit they provide is laughable. My way of thumbing my nose at the safety Nazis; if I need lights at night or during inclement weather, I turn them on. No offense meant to my neighbors to the north.
