as you can see it has 3 settings when factory only has 2.
It may not be integrated like factory but it works good and that what counts..

Re: Mopar heated seat kit install easy or not?

There has to be a way to get a hold of factory seat heaters and have them integrated into an ATC with heated seats... guess a dealer could get them for us. I don't mind the extra heating buttons but I always like to try to what everyone deems impossible lol. Its like this the Laredo X and above have factory heated seats with ATC so wouldn't they have the replacement parts in order for us modders to do this.. hmmmm lol. I'm getting ready to order leather seat covers for my GC so I may not have the heated seats installed until I can dig around more on the internet and see what I can find out.

The heated seat pads are the same as factory and will plug into factory wires, the power seats i have are originally from a limited but have been reskinned to match my interior and they are prewired for the oem heated seats, even the controller under the passenger seat is still there, im sure i couldve had them try to integrate it like factory but i just bought the ATC without the heated seat buttons and i did not want to change it out and loose $$$, unless someone wants to trade me there ATC with heated seats, then i will try and experiment..lol

Didn't you already have an ATC w/ heated seats ?? I believe it's in my possesion now. I'd love to trade for one w/o heated seats.

FWIW I went with the Katzkin heated seat kit instead of the Mopar kit (I am pretty sure you have the Katzkin covers already). The controls are easier to hide and I was able to have them installed into the plastic on the side of the seat. I only paid for the kit, they installed it for free when installing the leather. I would be upset if my console trim was hacked like that to mount an enormous switch. The Katzkin kit is also covered by the Jeep warranty.

I wasnt planning on adding heated seats at the time when i sold the ATC to you, but since its gotten cold i regretted not getting heated seats and i got a discount on the mopar kit, i know its not like factory but it works good and the switch location doesn't bother me.
