Motorcity XPost

I didn't buy the WK2 out of American Pride, Jeep loyalty, wannabe 313 syndrome, or any other non-objective factor.

It's now in my garage solely because it is a kick ass rig. Period.

But, I am diggin the Chrysler commercial from last night's SuperBowl.

Re: Motorcity XPost

I thought it was a great commercial. I knew it was for Chrysler right whn it started but I thought it was a 300 or Challenger ad, not the poo-poo 200.

I thought it was awesome! They have really hit one out of the park with all their new commercials.

Re: Motorcity XPost

I hate their commercials...they are just too corny to stomach. The GC can stand on its own merits so they should just advertise those...i guess with the 200 not so much.

Re: Motorcity XPost

The 200 isn't what it was. They changed most everything but the shell (because that takes longer than changing the bolt on parts). The one mini-review I've read says that's it is actually decent, which cannot have been said for the Sebring.

It's not going to beat the Camry or Fusion, but Chrysler needed a competent vehicle in the midsize category, and they needed it BADLY. Is the 200 the car they'll need in the future? Nope. But it's as much as they can do for now; it sure beats trying to sell the Sebring as it was for another couple years.

Heck, a 200 with the Pentastar engine might not be all that bad if it can handle acceptably.

Re: Motorcity XPost

It was definitely one of the better commercials.

Imported from Detroit has a nice ring to it.
