Re: Mudflaps....

Anyone got a photo of mudflaps on a white Overland? I've got them on my Laredo and I think they look good on the grey trim but the overland is all colour coded and I reckon they'll look funny.

Re: Mudflaps....

The flaps are black. I think they go with any color. To me, color coded flaps look would weird on anything but black or dark grey... and the dark grey is even kind of iffy.

agreed, tough sell on the lighter colored painted rockers - however darker colors look good imo (e.g. nookie's) and are functional

Re: Mudflaps....

Hey guys. just a word of caution if you install the flaps and want to take them off at a later date... I bought my 2012 overland (black plastic wheel well trim) with 40K miles and the previous owner had the flaps on. When i took them off, the plastic wheel well trim was a little worn where the flaps were, probably from the vibration of normal driving after 40K miles... you can't really notice it from a distance, but i know it's there...

That's typical of all molded to fit flaps.

I wouldn't say worn due to vibration. If anything I'd say worn due to wind resistance and snow/mud build up. Molded mudflaps have quite a bit of drag to them....

Just my o2 cents
