In one recent year, they had over 11' of snow in one week.

As I posted, Laredos do just fine up here and snow tires will make all the difference in the driveway she has. Her Laredo will be a snow beast with Blizzaks and over 8 inches of stock clearance. Stock tires could leave her stuck or disappointed in it's performance if her driveway builds up a little ice or 4 inches or more of snow.
Hey how's tug hill for quadding?

Re: My Aunt just got a WK2 and she's not happy...

LOL...we have 6-8" of snow here and my lowered WK with 20" SRT wheels goes like a beast. Im pretty sure a laredo wk2 on stock tires and more ground clearance would be fine in 2' of snow

Well, we just got about 12-14 inches of snow in my part of NY. She's a bit upstate and may have gotten less. I'll have to ask her if she had a chance to test out her new WK2 getting up her driveway.

And for all the people saying "it's just a driveway"...lol...a snow-covered driveway that twists it's way up a steep hill is a challenge for any vehicle. It's not the snow or the twists that's the problem, but when you add the STEEP HILL, then yes, it becomes an issue. Next time I go up to her house I'll have to snap a picture of the driveway.

I think you could solve your poor auntie's problem...if you were really her favourite nephew...you would be over there shovelling off her driveway

Snowmobiler's paradise in Winter, adds a lot to the local economy. Quads don't cut it in that much snow. To date, in the Syracuse vicinity, we have had the snowiest December EVAR at over 74" and the Tug has had more, I'm sure. NY State on the whole is a very restricted place to Quad or wheel. The local Jeep club mostly goes to PA due to the restrictions on places to wheel here.

Re: My Aunt just got a WK2 and she's not happy...

Update: So I talked to my Aunt yesterday and she told me that she's happy with the way her WK2 has gotten her up the snowy driveway. She did admit that she had a little problem in the last of the 3 major snow storms we've had in NY so far, but she also said there wasn't a single time that she couldn't make it up at all, unlike her crappy minivan.

She told me that as long as she doesn't have to park at the bottom of her driveway and walk up to the house, she'll be happy. LOL
