New fully optioned x5 is about 80k, assuming you paid 45k for a hemi overland you would be only about 10k shy of a '09 low miles CTS-V.

And have two vehicles that are much better at their intended purpose.
Before buying the X5, I tried my best to talk my wife into a 09 CTS-V, but the seats weren't comfortable for her (back issues). I see what you're saying though. Thanks for posting your hemi opinion!

The throttle response is excellent especially at midrange cruising and I think it pulls pretty damn hard for a heavy SUV. Obviously there are quicker SUV's like the much more expensive ones, but I think it feels quick. And this is coming from a person who is into fast cars as my other car is a 505hp C6 Z06 vette. Unless you drive something faster than a C6 Z then I would think my opinion about fast is pretty reasonable. I have also owned a 2008 Jeep SRT8 so I know what a quick SUV feels like to. Ah well whatever I guess its still just personal opinion, but to me the Overland Hemi moves pretty nicely :-)
Thanks James for your hemi opinion too! I Appreciate all of the input that you Guys are willing to share!

I also didn't buy it for that purpose, I wanted a luxury midsized suv and frankly prefer its interior/exterior design to any others out there at the moment. The fact that its a Detroit product was just a bonus. I've been pleasantly surprised by it and the Cadillac I picked up this year.
Thanks!
