My exhaust tips are sad....

Is anyone elses exhaust tips on their Summit like mine? I don't think they're supposed to tilt down are they? I'll probably loosen the bolt up and tilt them up a bit till they better match the exhaust cutout in the bumper better, lol!

Time for a warranty trip to the dealer, but they probably would say that they can't duplicate the problem!

Like they say, "If you want something done right, do it yourself". They look easy enough to adjust on the Summit. At least the tips are adjustable. On the Overlands and lesser models, many of them are crooked, but they really can't be adjusted easily since they are all welded. Again, just poor quality control at Chrysler. But lets face it, they never have nor will they ever have good quality control.

The tips on my Summit don't look like that. I'm sure you can un-bolt them and straighten them up with little trouble.

Re: My exhaust tips are sad....

My new Summit had one tip slanted badly and the other straight. Had to take it to the dealer for a subwoofer rattle and had them line them up for me. The service tech. even comment on the poor alignment.

I totally agree, looks to be a 15-17mm bolt to be loosened and that's it, I'm glad its adjustable! It's my first Chrysler vehicle and my JGC was afflicted with the bad CV boots, but o well....I love the car still! lol!
