I've been looking at a set of jk take offs to run 18s, can you give some details? What size tires? Spacers needed?

Re: My new wheels

They look great. I was able to score some tonight since my OEM Forteras were definitely not winter capable. They look great and fit over the HD brakes.

I was able to secure a set for $600 from Craigslist. Brand new w/ TPMS. I'll post a couple pics when I'm in front of my computer.

Thanks for posting your photo. It was my deciding factor.

New wheels and tires in OffRoad II mode.

OEM 20" compared to the new Wrangler 18".

Re: My new wheels

Is there a way to recalibrate the speedometer? I have been looking at options for wheels/tires, but I don't want to give up the precision of the speedometer. It is always in sync with radar and gps, so I feel confident when police are pacing me or using radar.

The wheels look beautiful by the way!

Come on guys... You can't be serious. This thing looks like it's ready for a moon landing circa 1969

Meh. To each their own. They're my winter tires w/ Nitto Terra Grapplers going on the stock 20s as soon as I've worn the Forteras out. They were cheap and will keep my family safe through the winter.

I dig 'em. You don't. No biggie.
