After three months of issues with my 2014 Limited JGC, I finally picked up my replacement! :D

Deep Cherry Red Overland with the Brown/light frost beige interior. V6.

Congratulations! The DCR looks great! Maybe better than my Granite...

Thanks everyone!

@jp467: Local, from another dealer.
@ acilate: For now, no mods... 6 months from now may be a different story :)

I put about 100 miles on it since picking it up earlier today, just messing around. It already slowly rolled over a few tiny 'boulders' I have in the back... probably the most off roading it will do for a little while. Loving it so far!

Beautiful color! Enjoy in good health!! I wish that this runs without any issues or problems.

Wow, that just looks awful. I mean, did it all happen suddenly, or did the isht hit the fan after you pulled over and turned it off?

I can't believe a Jeep of all cars reacted to water like that either!

All members who want a GC in the future sincerely thank you for being the awesome people to adopt new models and work out/report the bugs to Jeep! You guys and gals get us excited about owning the new model and even help everyone else out when something goes wrong thanks to your experiences and everyone here's expertise.

Here's to your Overland getting a new computer and having you finally enjoy it.

Eh, sometimes getting screwed when it's related to your vehicle just makes people a little extra angsty.

On a related note, each time I talked with the service department since last Thursday, they delay the day I am getting my Jeep back... now supposedly tomorrow it will be all set for me. The optimist in me hopes it is because they are taking extra precautions to ensure the JGC is 100% now.

Hahaha on the '14 Take 1.

We really like the RDX, it's just not worth trading in the Kia for it since the cargo areas are both 26.1 cu.ft. What's your advice for someone coming from reliable Hondas?

Also please tell your dealer your friends at JeepGarage are dying for you to get your Jeep back so you can convince us that it was a fluke and that it's trouble free now! :D

When I got the RDX, it was relatively cheap (Think I paid 28K for it), had turbo, which I LOVED, and was the most upscale interior I had ever owned. Since getting it though, having a second child, and a dog, it was just too small.

The CRV is cheaper than the RDX, and is on the same platform, I believe. I know a few people that really love their CRV. But, again, it would be about the same cargo size. IMO, both are a big jump up from Kia...

Don't count Jeep out just yet. I may be getting close to my last straw with them, but if you get a good Jeep, you will undoubtedly love it.

Oh brother. just heard from the service department...

So I guess there were multiple computer modules that got f'ed up by the water. They got the BCM, and replaced it, then realized that some integrated control module was still screwed, so they ordered one of those. Well, after getting that in, today they realized that other electronic components still were not working, like the entire radio, so today, they put in an order for a new radio.

WTF.

I'm sorry brother, but you're getting taken for a ride. I would be there demanding an efing refund or every newspaper radio and tv station would be informed about this isht. You have been more than generous with your time and money and its now their time to do right by you. I would be slinging mo'fo's across the dealership at this point.
