My wife replaced all the locks in the house with keypad combo locks once she got the keyless entry and start so she would never have to dig for keys again.

In our house, if you need keys, its a no-go.

How's that working out? I want to do the same to my house, but my wife frowns on technology and prefers the traditional key entry.

Hmm, I may have forgotten how to do that.

Its awesome. We have a keypad on the front door, and one on the garage door, and an outside one on the garage. You can set temporary codes for cleaning services, etc.

The lock still has a keyhole, so if she wants to use a key she can...but she won't want to once she gets used to it.

This is the system we have:

Schlage Camelot Satin Nickel Keypad Deadbolt-BE365 CAM 619 at The Home Depot
