Need suggestions for small boo boo

Don't ask, I'm an idiot. Yes, it's only 3 days old. Grrr.

Any way, can someone recommend where to get this chrome part?

Is it unique to 2014?

Any tips on removing it?

Do you think I can get away with just changing the chrome piece?

The Black piece is deflected but might spring back most of the way. Would I even notice the black piece a year from now? That part of car always takes a beating.

Re: Need suggestions for small boo boo

You can buy the chrome piece for only $18 from many places. I would recommend using either the dealer or justforjeeps.com, they are a vendor here and have a very nice website. The chrome piece is very easy to change out according to some Laredo owners on the forum that have installed it to replace the black piece on the Laredo.

Here is a write-up on the install (for a Laredo): '14 Laredo DIY: Front-lower-bumper-chrome insert

I can't imagine it would be that much different on a Limited, given the black and chrome pieces are the same except for finish.

Thanks man. I called the dealer and he said $20.00 and I said no way, that can't be the right part. Hmmm, kind of temped to put a black one in Just to be different.

You made my day, thanks.

No problem. That's what the forum is for!

I agree, the black one might be kind of cool. And if you don't like it, just order the chrome one for $18 or whatever it is and stick it in instead.
