Re: Need To Vent

No way 4k for up grade lights.I would guess part of a package meaning you would get up-grade lights plus xxx plus x.

Re: Need To Vent

If you bought the Jeep, that means you were satisfied with its configuration at the time of purchase. Who signed the paperwork? Who bought it? That's right, that guy in the mirror. You can only blame but yourself. If you don't like it, sell it or trade for something else.

Re: Need To Vent

Interesting. One could argue that an example of missing features on the $25K Dart is 4x4 capability for which was part of your over $40K "Jeep".

Re: Need To Vent

And what is the list of things the GC has that the dart doesn't have? I think you net-out ok here. This is almost as trivial a thread as the guy who was going to sue Chrysler for coming out with new model right after he bought his GC.

There are always going to be new things that they try in a lower cost line to differentiate against the competition. Good example: The '14 Cherokee has that nice electronic parking brake. Would love to have it on my new '15 GC Overland which cost more but they just haven't yet brought that tech to the GC yet. I'm sure it will show up in the next refresh, but I'm not about to hate on the car because such a small thing. The overall experience with the GC is far superior to the Cherokee. I think any reasonable person would agree that the overall experience with the GC is far superior to the Dodge Freakin Dart.

Bottom line is: Don't make car buying decisions in a vacuum. Look at all the options and decide what you can live with. You can't have everything.

First off I actually thoroughly enjoy my Jeep GC as this is my fourth one. All I was simply stating is that it sucks to pay this much for a truck and not get the same technology that lesser models have in them. Some of you people are real ***holes

It really is and that's the sad part. I had the 4th Gen one and loved that rig, but the new one is way too bare bones (even the limited.. The things I loved on mine that the Jeep doesn't have is the locking diff and xreas suspension.

Re: Need To Vent

Sometimes are a lot more complicated than they seem. For example someone mentioned about how one of the Chrysler cars got the 8.4 NAV before the WK2 did. This was because the 8.4 NAV required a completely different electrical bus than the old system. Other sensors and modules also would have to be updated at the same time... possibly things like power train modules, etc. It isn't a simple plug and play.

But guess what, when the WK2 did get the 8.4 NAV it got the second generation one, while the Chrysler had to practically two more years before it got it.

I get it completely. But, your jeep crushes all darts. And yeah, you can get crushed for stating your opinion here. If people don't agree, instead of saying they disagree or ignoring your post they hammer you for fun. Nice group huh?

Hopefully you've learned your lesson. Next time you have a thought you'd better keep it to yourself. Ha.

Now, predictably, I'll hear mouth for posting this. Haters gonna hate bro.

I traded a 5th Gen SR5 for a 2015 Altitude. I loved the 4R but the differences are night and day.

OP, the good news is you have a lease so you get to upgrade every few years. Hopefully you can survive in between.

No one here knows what you're talking about because you refuse to list anything. Does the Dart come with massage seats and caviar dispensers in the back or something?
