Re: new 13, 3.6 question
To the guy AcidCold-- I love my V6, it has plenty of power and gets me to where I need to go with a very smooth ride. But it is not a sports car, it's heavy and when you start it from a dead stop (unless you floor it) you can tell that it is trying to save gas. The last few tanks of gas have been almost always city driving and I have calculated 16.3 mpg to 17.6 mpg. The evic says better, but by only a couple mpgs. But, on long highway trips, I have been getting over 24mpg.
Also, if you are thinking between the v6 and the bigger engines, look at the facts that reputable companies have given about 1/4 mile, 0-60 etc to get a good idea about the power difference, then take a test drive on them all. Fwiw, there are many threads here about the V6/hemi debate and I have noticed that some people on this forum are very biased with their opinions on engine sizes and couldn't possibly think of owning the other engine.
To the op, just follow the manual on what type of oil to use, if it has changed between the 12/13, go with the change.
When life gives you lemons, run that crap over.
