awesome spy pics by JeepGarage member 12Sleeper! This is a 2014 Overland Summit heading overseas for testing...possibly the Ring? Germany? etc.? New rear bumper, exhaust tips, new black Nappa summit leather etc etc.

AWFUL rear bumper design. I could probably live with the chrome strips under the doors but that rear bumper is too fussy, took the simple design and screwed it up with the double chrome strips and polygon exhaust tips.
That's funny:

to each his own.

Looks ok I guess. Not sure about the two tone in the back but maybe it would look a bit better in a flat black like it is now. Little scared though I have to admit... Can't wait see more pics on the different models.

I think I like it...a lot!!!! I always knew they had to do something about that plain old just like all other SUV's looking back end on the 2011-2013 WK2's. And this picture doesn't even show what the new LED tail lights look like ;-) can't wait to see those!
Awesome to see they finally designed a bumper that has a cover for the ugly hitch in the back. Upon closer inspection, it almost appears that all they did was redesign the lower valance and put on different exhaust tips. Possibly good news for those that won't be upgrading, but want the newer look without too much trouble or money.
I also noticed this vehicle has the SRT side moldings around the wheel wells as well as painted lower side skirt (which also has a chrome strip). I'm really liking this thing.
Are we sure this is a Summit and not an SRT8?

How about the wheels? Are those the current SRT8-wheels or will they be new as well (I don't expect black wheels though - but we often see them black on test-vehicles)?

I also like the hidden tow-mount and, IMO, the chrome-stripes below the doors look much more stylish than the chrome-stripes glued right on to the doors.

If that painted section of the bumper really stays that way for all colors...another reason to get a mineral gray Jeep..

Where is the third photo that sleeper posted earlier today showing the front end straight on? It appears the photos have been deleted from the 2013 thread (where he originally posted them) and I only see 2 of 3 here...

I removed some.photos because they had the op's place of employment. I will edit them and get them back up.

After looking at both the 2011-2013 rear bumpers and that 2014 they are definately different. At first I thought it looked as if they simply put on a new lower valance, but that's not the case.
Regardless, I'm REALLY liking what I see. Can't wait to see the rest of it!!!!

Looks good except the white swirls paint job isn't my style AT ALL!!!

Just kidding - yes, I know that is to camouflage the body shape details...

Mule? ... I didn't know Jeep was adding another model. Will that be priced above or below the Overland? Or is this called an Overland Mule?

????

Have to say, I like this a lot. I will be buying a 2014 SRT8, which should look even better than this. I like the new lettering, and the exhaust tips. I think this model will sell like crazy, and the two tone might be there for the same reason the white swirls are...

I think it is an SRT8 as well. It has painted wheel arches, just like the current SRT8, along with what appear to be painted rocker panels.
Don't think so, it doesn't have painted Brembos ... look closely at the front wheel and caliper. If that was a SRT8 it would have Brembo's.

On another note, I really like the mid-year refresh...
