Although I would've been just fine if they kept the grill how it was before too.

I see two versions of the grill. Based on the fact that the one that has the grill with just the chrome outlines also has chrome door handles, and the one that has the grill that's all chrome doesn't have chrome door handles, I'm guessing the lower trim levels will be getting the all-chrome grill standard, and the higher trim levels will be getting the chrome-outlined grill standard?
That grill you are looking at is grey, not chrome.

It's called black tape.

I'll wait until I see the Overland and Summit models before I make a judgment call. Hopefully the higher models will have a better look to them. We are after all basing the entire look of the lineup off of the base model.

1 of them was the Limited and 1 was Laredo. I can't think the Overland would look any different than the Limited.

I'm with you. I can't believe some people are getting so emotional over spy shots. There's still plenty to be revealed and these pictures should only help to further hint at what's to come, not be taken as the actual revealing shots.

At least they are coming up w/ the shark fin antennas instead of the long stick we have on ours. Too bad, Mineral Grey color will be discontinued on the 2014+ models... otherwise, I would purchase the shark fin (MG) for my Jeep.

Man, That's one UGLY GC, either version. Think I'll stick with my 2012 LTD.

yep. you can even see the tape hanging off the headlights in the one picture. the grille thing is not to my liking, but I'll wait until I see a straight shot of the front without tape on the lights.

Interesting. Anyone know if front lower fascia will still be removable, for off-roading? It looks quite a bit larger than the current ones.

Oh woops, I looked at the link through my iPhone and didn't see that there were any additional pics. I know a lot of times new things grow on people, but as of now I can't say the new look thrills me. The front and back now look cheap somehow like how you would imagine a compass or journey would look. Hope that changes for me:-)
I personally think it would have been best if that leave things as is, but simple added revised fancier headlights and tail lights.

It's ugly if you own a current model. It's not if youve been waiting to purchase.

That's probably the most accurate statement in this thread.

Hahaha...so true.

Let me add that this applies to every facelift on any car. Always did and always will. Reminds me of the introduction of the WK2 when so many were screaming "soccer mum SUV"...
