Well, today the '11 went back into the shop for the 4th time in 3 months. The service department informed me that not only were they going to have to replace the TIPM for the 2nd time but they were also going to have to replace a bunch of other parts. All of the issues I was having were electrical and seemed to not be getting fixed.
After a quick discussion with my wife, a verification that my warranty was expiring in early December and after a visit to the Infinity, BMW and a few other dealerships, I ended up leaving the '11 at the dealership and drove off in a new '14 Summit.
This is my 5th Jeep (hey I am a Jeep guy what can I say) and the dealership was great to work with. They took into account loyalty and the service issues I was having to help me get a very good deal.
I am crossing my fingers just a bit that the later builds have fewer "bugs" build date of 10/25.
Anyway, here is the new girl
